Charles, I read all the Panel Mammals regularly but somehow I missed your post there.
So I just read it now and I have to congratulate you on it. Nice post! Personally I like many of the comics in alt-weeklies, probably because they offer more freedom to the artist than the regular syndicated stuff (and they're longer), but since they run just once a week I prefer the dailies.
