Thanks for sending us your submission. You have a very nice, loose and appealing style. You should be proud of it. However, your strip's lack of a narrative "hook" would make it a very difficult sell to newspaper editors, who are picky, cynical, harried folks.

Narrative hook seems to be all the rage. If I knew where to get some I would advise...
Oh yes. Generally if you don't get a form letter as a rejection slip you're doing better than most others.
I might try something out eventually.
