Keep at it and stop counting the number of drawings. That's really irrelevant. If you keep counting, you'll try to conserve drawings and it'll get limited.Just shoot for the sky and see how it moves.
Good luck with this, Brubaker. I'd love to see your short film whenever you get finished with it. It's great that there are people like you, Chris Allison, and Nina Paley who aren't afraid to make funny, enjoyable cartoons on their own time and budget, especially when there's not much of that on most mainstream animation productions. Maybe it would be helpful if you had an animation light table though. I don't see it in the photo, but yet again, I've never used one myself or even know how to animate correctly yet.
Roberto,I have a light table. You can see a corner of it on top left portion of the picture (the one with "simply the best" written on it)It would be impossible to animate on paper without one.
