I admit that my comic is very dialogue-heavy. Most comics are.
Still, I do try to make the corresponding pictures interesting. One thing I hate about modern comics is that, whenever the characters talk they just stand still, nothing more than "talking heads". I catch myself doing this sometimes, so I try to balance it out by having characters move when talking, their actions matching what they say.
Sometimes it's nothing more than raising their hands for emphasis but then there are times when the character puts their arms around another's shoulder. Or making funny faces. They're small things, but it helps make your comic more visually pleasing than stiff talking heads.
