Comic page: Rough Drawing / Finished

A look at how I do my comics. Left is a rough sketch that I did when I was planning my stories; right is a finished page.

The inking adds quite a bit of solidity to the drawings. I tend to draw very loose myself when I have an idea I absolutely have to get down on paper, but I can also work with Col-erase pencils if I need to. I really like that improvisational look the Pentel pocket brush pen gives. It's something that Vincent Waller used for many of his own drawings.
